Tractor-trailer cases

KB, the father of twin 14 year old boys and a husband, was driving to his work in December.  As he was crossing the bridge over the Mississippi River at Louisiana, Missouri, a tractor trailer carrying logging equipment was headed in the opposite direction.  The truck crossed the center line of the 2 lane bridge and its logging equipment became dislodged and struck KB's car killing him instantly.  Witzel and Dimmitt tried this matter in federal court to a successful jury verdict of $3,000,000.
